A great deal of blood has passed under many bridges since this blog was first published. My readership, hovering somewhere between zero and one, has been holding it's statistical half-breath for quite a while, as my writer has dithered about when and whether to continue at all with this conceit. Finally, a consensus seems to have been reached: The ongoing criminal activity of the present administration, not to mention the corporate malfeasance that passes for "business as usual" and the on-going ecological depredations that seem to presage a mass extinction with few precedents seems to be materializing right on schedule cries out for some response. Whether adding to the background noise of the blogesphere can possibly make any positive difference probably misses the point: On a sinking ship, one can probably be forgiven for picking up a megaphone and yelling into it...

But, as fate would have it, I cannot resume posting in earnest just quite yet, but will do so Real Soon Now.
